QUALIFICATIONS
Peter’s successful 42-year career as a Royal Navy Officer has had people at the core of activity. His service has included Command of two of Her Majesty’s warships, a Royal Navy Shore Establishment and management of the Admiralty Interview Board, the assessment centre for the selection of the RNs future leaders. Peter is adept at motivating, coaching and mentoring a cross section of leaders and diverse teams to strive towards a common purpose, through strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Completing the PCEC at Henley Business School, Peter has coached and mentored several young men and women looking to join the Services. His coaching offering is specialised in working with leaders as they face the challenges and complexities of leadership and management, as well as coping with their own ‘demons’; his clients include business managers and Head of a large Secondary school.
Peter is a versatile, resourceful, and widely experienced leader with a proven track record, capable of orchestrating and implementing significant policy and process improvements through wider stakeholder engagement. He is motivated by nurturing others to grow and succeed, and is a people-focussed leader.
